Geekwhat moving to Jumpline.com
Posted on 27 April 2007
I wrote a post last week about moving geekwhat to a different hosting company due to the ridiculously slow loading times with 1and1.
Well, I’ve made the move. Doug Karr suggested Jumpline.com, given their 12 month free hosting offer (and a dedicated IP address). I was very close to migrating over to Media Temple given many friends’ suggestions, but figured I’d give Jumpline a shot since there’s nothing to lose.
Thanks to everyone’s input! Expect some possible downtime in the next few days as I migrate over. Then, hopefully the site will be super fast! =)

Tony,
They’ve got a great admin interface. If you need any assistance, let me know. Since you’ve got a dedicated IP, you can move your database and site over… then change your name server on your domain. If you do it right, you’ll never skip a beat! Let me know if you need a hand.
