Spring Break Next Week, what to do?
Posted on 23 March 2007
I’m pretty gungho about setting goals. Deed I am. Spring break is coming up for me, next week I’ll be off from school for a total of 9 days. That’s a pretty decent amount of time.

Where I won’t be…:/
Here are the things I plan to accomplish by the end of break:
- Finish reading a book.
- Complete a working prototype of our EE senior design project.
- Do at least one episode for Talkmatic.
- Confirm location and meet with people for E27 event.
Oh and if you have a cool paid gig for me to do for nine days, contact me. I’d love to make some money. :)
I think this is a fair set of goals. Do-able. If you’re a student, your spring break might be next week too. Set some goals! You’ll feel good after the week is over. Trust me.

Learning AJAX and writing a CMS that addresses some of the shortcomings of what I have been using: mainly addressing the issue of reusability of content.

let’s go to the beach!!!! surf?
funny, i make a spring break “to do list” which is essentially my “goals” list. i guess calling them “goals” makes it sound less of a obligation and more personally motivating. but then does that make you less likely to complete your goals?

I think the bottom line is that they must be accomplished, period. :) Here’s a good way to ensure that it’ll get done:
