Album Title: Les Retrouvailles
Yann tiersen is a renowned French composer. Purchased this album today at 誠品, great thematic music. This album is mostly instrumental with some scattered vocals, it plays like a movie soundtrack. Lots of elements and very whimsical, some songs are a minute or two, some are five to six.
Update: Here’s a cool little video created by Aidan Gibbons. It features the song, “Comptine D’un Autre Etè: l’Après Midi” by Yann Tiersen (featured in the film ‘Amelie’):

Holy smokes! I love Yann Tiersen. I don’t have this CD and I can’t seem to get it through his website. Where did you say you got it from?

Awesome Camille! I got it while in Taiwan. I’m sure you can find it at Amoeba Music or maybe even iTunes?
